Introduction

KDB Bank Brazil is the Brazilian subsidiary of the Korea Development Bank (KDB).

The Korea Development Bank as a Korean government owned bank was founded in 1954 in accordance with The Korea Development Bank Act for the purpose of supplying and managing major industrial capital to help develop Korean industries and the national economy. For the half century since then, KDB has faithfully fulfilled its role as a government-run bank, anticipating and coping with changes in the economic and financial environment.

KDB Bank Brazil is controlled 100% by KDB and is authorized by Central Bank of Brazil as a Multiple Bank doing the commercial banking and investment banking businesses.
