Introduction

KDB Asia Limited was first opened in November 1977,

as a representative office of KDB Bank, and reformed as a wholly owned subsidiary of KDB Bank in January 1986. KDB Asia is the only Korean Financial Institution in CIB format having a restricted banking license and securities licenses within the same body. As KDB Asia stands at the forefront of KDB Bank’s strategy to penetrate Asian financial markets, we will strengthen its competitiveness and establish IB Business foundation as a new revenue source in the short-term while we aim to become KDB Bank’s IB House in Asia by building up its competency both in Corporate Banking and Investment Banking businesses in the longer term.
